Machine Bicep Curls



Most machine bicep curls are meant to isolate the biceps by raising the height of the elbows thereby reducing the amount of deltoid you can use to assist in the lift. Take care to sit into arm pad (pad should touch torso at the armpit) with hips back and lower back arched. Also, it is very important to complete a full range of motion in the curl in order to prevent a shortening in the muscle which can lead to tendonitis.
